To a lot of web designer, developer or freelancers that I know, time management is always one of the hardest things that they have to deal with in their daily life. Whether they are too busy to focus on their projects, meeting tens of clients every day or lack of an effective time control system, there are always having thousands of excuses that they can’t keep track on their time. In this post, I’m going to share 5 time management tools that may help you effectively manage your time while you can still focus on your busy work. Let’s take a look.

1. Remember The Milk
A free and easy to use online based task management tool launched in 2005. Simply add your tasks into the list, prioritize them, and check them out when they are done. You can also add the tasks through your email or Gmail add-on. Remember the milk is available in Android, BlackBerry and iPhone as well.

2. Rescue Time
Free and Pro version are both available. It allows users to keep track the activities they spend on the web, time logging features, goal setting, weekly activities report by email, real time alerts etc. It is a very handy and powerful tool that can effectively manage your daily work activities. Pro version is available for $9 per month.

3. Ronin
A time tracking system that is useful for client management and online invoicing. A lot of features available in the invoicing such as payment integration, sending estimation to clients, track and re-bill expenses etc. Free and paid plans are both available.

4. Reverb
Another free and simple but powerful online based projects and tasks management tool. Users can discuss the projects with the team, workmates and clients as well. After a major update in 2010, verb changed their name to reverb but it is still a very nice and useful app.

5. Toggl
Another piece of nice time management software that can run in different platforms, web, desktop, mobile etc. Although this is not as feature-rich as the other fours that I have mentioned, it is still a good time management tool for most people.
