Michelle Kwan wanted to return to figure skating before she turned 40?

Since now is the Winter Olympic time, I will start my Casual Wednesday with one of my favorite Olympic figure skater, Michelle Kwan. Michell is one of the best figure skater in the world. She is a two-time Olympic medalist (1998 and 2002), a five-time World champion (1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, and 2003) and a nine-time U.S. champion (1996, 1998-2005). She is tied with Maribel Vinson for the all-time National Championship record.

Michelle was known for her consistency and expressive artistry on ice, she is widely considered one of the greatest figure skaters of all time. Besides of that, she is also the highest paid skater on the Champions on Ice tours. From 1997 to 2005, Michelle was the U.S. Figure Skating Association’s top-paid skater in appearance fees and prize money, as well as one of the highest paid Winter Olympic athletes in endorsements.

According to the Wmagazine, Michelle, who is now 37, wanted to return to figure skating before she turned 40, and she’s now doing double axles again. From one of the latest clip that she posted in Instagram, she is in good shape and the clip showed she is pushing through a couple of back crossovers before dropping into a hydroblade, one hand on the ice and the other extended over her free leg. She hopped to her feet, slid to a halt, and gave a small bow. She was wearing a denim jacket and so ready for the next challenge!

Michelle, just go for it!!!
