Recipe: Asian Rice Bowl with Egg

Asian Rice Bowl with Egg

I am a big fan of egg or anything that has egg on it, I love it. Today I found a recipe of Asian Rice Bowl with Egg. It is healthy and easy to make in just minutes. Simple comfort food with nice presentation and all in one bowl, easy enough for someone like me, as a guy who don’t really want to make any complicated full course meal. The number one rule of the thumb when cooking fried rice is to use left-over rice instead of fresh cooked to avoid stickiness. Ok! Check this out and see if you can also make one like I show on the picture.

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
4 cups cooked brown rice
2 cups broccoli florets, raw or lightly steamed
1/2 head napa cabbage, sliced thin (about 2 cups)
2 carrots, grated
1/2 cup bean sprouts
4 large fried eggs
1/2 cup chopped green onions
sesame seeds

PREPARATION

1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and minced ginger.
2. Divide the brown rice between 4 serving bowls.
3. Top each bowl with broccoli, cabbage, carrots, and sprouts. Drizzle each bowl with the dressing.
4. Top with the eggs, green onions, and sesame seeds.
