Alhambra Police Seek to ID Attempted Package Thief Caught on Video

The incident was occurred on 5/12/2016 at 4:40pm, a Tuesday evening in the area around Valley blvd and the New ave. A Hispanic lady was caught on tape stealing 2 packages in front of a house while the owner of the house just arrived on time and captured this whole scene.

In the video, we can clearly hear the conversation between the homeowner and the lady. The homeowner first see the lady walking out from his porch with the two packages that she picked up from his front door. He then confront to the lady with the following conversations,

“You know I live here?” he says in the video.

She responds inaudibly.

“If I were you, I’d put that down,” he says. “Those are my stuff. I live here. This is my house.”

“My mom lives here,” she responds.

The homeowner then tell the lady that he is going to call the police on her and the lady throw the two boxes on the follow and walked away down and sidewalk.

The video was posted on the Facebook by the Police Department of Alhambra and described the woman as Hispanic and between 20 – 30 years old.
